Gender Approaches To Development Known As WID,GAD,WAD

The introductory session of women and development is the advance level approach to show that women is the important topic to the world and now cannot separate from the current trends while thinking about the human in this advance age. The women issues and ways to mitigates those issues are always demands a procedural methodologies at administrative level. This trend was started when the women in development (WID) comes in the debate forum to initiate the discourse with the best possible approach. WID comes as the pure economic mind that show that how the exploitation of women is trendy in economy through the least level of investment. The contribution was uncountable when the women oppression was justified as the proper information in reality. (Razavi & Miller, 1995)

Gender Approaches To Development

The whole discussion than shifted from the WID to gender and development (GAD) and mostly termed as the gender role framework by the researchers of that time and even some called it as the social relations analysis in composite format. Now, after the introduction of GAD the whole paradigm shifting was being divided as the whole literature on gender with the discourse analysis. GAD was promoted with factors in the society who endorsed the role of socialistic feminist thinking. The macro-economic level is being explored as one of the main platform that always considered the knowledge-based material as needed. The second shift is about the women’s empowerment strategies and the proper implications of strategies in the composite concept. The detailed research showed that the social relations analysis cannot complete unless the women’s empowerment is being tested. (Razavi & Miller, 1995)

The conferences both at national level and event at the platform of United Nations explore the epistemological element in the study and showed that the study is highly centralized with the women issues. The policy goals are new to the platform because these goals essentially covered the whole material based approach to show that either the information is necessary to explore so that the women issues could tackle effectively. The shift from WID to developmental agencies was only adopted on the basis that show that majority of the people are the basic target and applied in overall paradigm. (Razavi & Miller, 1995)

The women and developmental (WAD) approach is another school of thought that is being descriptive in nature and behaves in the best way to accomplish the task as needed to exploit. The modernization theory is new paradigm shift in which the modern concepts are always deals in the new format and with the new approach. The modernization theory was the need of time and always considered as the main source of information in advance level approach. Theoretically, it comes in the scholarly research when the dependency theory was guiding the whole principles in the gender issues. (Razavi & Miller, 1995)

The illustration in the starts of WAD mind in the community was not justified in any case because this mindset demands the integration between women and development that is typically regarded as the myth. In opposite way, the only focus here at this platform was justified when the women platform shows some intentions to amalgamate with the developmental process. The benefits of this approach provides a women as the active role in economic activities. Along with the economic platform, the social structure is not a obsolete phenomenon in any case. (Razavi & Miller, 1995)

As the matter of discussion shifted from one level to another in getting the economic and societal structure in the best possible way. Every facet at economic condition and every aspect in societal structure is being judge and monitored within the women sector. The international platform is not valuing the things directly related with these roles of women in society. This is the major Gender Critique of structural adjustment polices that is commonly known as the SAPs. (Razavi & Miller, 1995)
